WellSiteSentry Prepare

To ensure the safety of your people and assets, WellSiteSentry services start long before rig up. We aim to work closely with our client’s internal safety team, external agencies and assist with site specific safety planning.

  • Site Inspection

A close inspection of a the well pad prior to rig up will help determine fire suppression capabilities, water runoff analysis for environmental concerns and identify potential hazards in wildfire or disaster incidents.

  • Public Safety Answering Point(PSAP) Planning

A 911 call placed in a rural area, such as a well site, can be dispatched through several different emergency service agencies. The closest geographical agency may not always be the responding agency. PSAP analysis at the well site will identify what emergency services agencies will be responding to include fire, emergency medical services and police.

  • Emergency Services Liaison

Emergency services agencies identified during the PSAP planning step will be contacted by WellSiteSentry personnel. The local agencies will be aware of WellSiteSentry capabilities and a joint incident response plan will be determined.

  • Hazard Safety Plan/Job Safety Analysis Collaboration

Findings will be provided to designated client personnel in order to collaborate pre-planning efforts.

  • Emergency Response Planning

WellSiteSentry strives to work closely with our customer in order to operate efficiently during emergency incidents in order to protect lives and property. Emergency planning will consist of no more than two designated personnel on a shift to assist Emergency Response Technicians in a safe manner during a critical incident.

WellSiteSentry Overwatch

Emergency Response Technicians on-site actively provide risk mitigation for fire, medical services, rescue and workplace safety services.

  • Firefighter/EMT-B Personnel On-Site 24/7

WellSiteSentry Emergency Response Technicians(ERTs) will be available 24/7 while occupying the WellSiteSentry Command Center. Team member are non-exempt, variable, hourly employees. Only one Emergency Response Technician will be on duty during the WellSiteSentry shift. The Emergency Response Technician will only be expected to execute duties that are established in the policies and procedures adopted by CORROSOURCE, LLC. In a safe manner, the Emergency Response Technician will operate within written policies and procedures until additional emergency response resources are available and incident command is established with local emergency service agencies..

Emergency Response Technicians will closely coordinate with Client Representatives and Company Supervisors at the well site and openly communicate specific identifiable hazards and potential hazards. The Emergency Response Technician will be responsible for representing WellSiteSentry during project safety meetings and addressing safety concerns with personnel on location.

All Emergency Response Technicians are required to possess at least a Firefighter 1 Level of Accreditation through the International Fire Accreditation Service and National Professional Qualifications Systems and a Basic Level Certificate as an Emergency Medical Technician through the Oklahoma State Department of Health. The video display also had the capability to conduct a live teleconference. Emergency Response Technicians will attend every shift safety meeting and contribute to the effort of creating and sustaining a safe well site environment.

  • Emergency Notification System (ENS)

A delayed response during a critical incident could be a matter of life or death. WellSiteSentry has a solution to communicate when seconds count. The WellSiteSentry Notification System is a proprietary software communications tool. The software has a simple user interface that allows personnel to select the emergency incident location on the well site through an aerial image and the type of emergency; Fire, Injury or Caution. The ENS directly integrates with the WellSiteSentry Emergency Notification System to trigger audible and visual indicators across the location. The ENS interface will be accessible via an IPAD provided by WellSiteSentry to the designated locations determined by company safety personnel.

  • Emergency Notification System (ENS)

WellSiteSentry has integrated strobe light visual indicators along with an audible siren warning and announcement system. The strobe light visuals are red, amber and green in order to correspond with the appropriate incident or all clear signal initiated by the ENS.

  • Thermal Imaging Temperature Measurement

WellSiteSentry deploys a dual-spectrum high-speed PTZ thermal cameras mounted on elevated masts over the well site providing overwatch for fire detection. The thermal cameras embedded with high temperature alarm modules, which allow the camera to accurately trigger pre-alarm indicators based upon predetermined temperature parameters.  The cameras can operate under extreme weather to include complete darkness, rain or snow. Emergency Response Technicians monitor the thermal temperature measurements inside the command trailer.

  • Video Monitoring and Recording

Four 1080P fixed security cameras are deployed at each well site. Emergency Response Technicians monitor these cameras inside the command trailer. The WellSiteSentry Emergency Notification System(ENS) allows the Emergency Response Technician to engage an audible and visual “caution” alert across the well site to mitigate a potential incident that has been identified. Video footage can be recorded and stored locally. Video footage can also be provided through an encrypted secure feed for remote monitoring.

  • Severe Weather Monitoring and Notifications

Emergency Response Technicians will be aware of weather forecast for the shift and communicate to the on site foreman any known weather hazards. The WellSiteSentry ENS can be utilized to alert the entire site during a severe weather event.

Visual inspections of required safety signage on location.

  • Scheduled Workplace Safety Check Services

  • Fire Suppression Response

Emergency Response Technicians will carefully considered fire suppression techniques based upon the nature of the fire incident. Emergency Response Technicians are equipped with proper fire extinguishers as well as the option to utilize the WellSiteSentry distributed hose system and suppress the fire with water/foam. Our system applies foam to the water stream at the end of the booster hose so that foam characteristics can be controlled and the most efficient technique to combat the fire can be utilized. WellSiteSentry’s emergency response system for fire suppression has the capability to generate 15,000 gallons of produced foam in a 25 minute period with 275gallons of water.

  • Emergency Medical Services

  • Medical Telehealth Capabilities
